About this workshop
A short experience to discover Huế's coffee culture through A Lưới coffee and the traditional phin brewing method. You will be guided step by step, from preparing the coffee to finishing and enjoying your very own cup.

The village story
About 70 km west of Huế, A Lưới was once expected to become Huế's Arabica growing region. The first coffee trees were planted here in 2001, but over time the area was gradually forgotten and much of the land was replaced with other crops. In 2016, Greenfields Coffee began exploring and rebuilding the A Lưới coffee region. In 2018, PhinHolic joined Greenfields Coffee and local farming households, improving cultivation, harvesting, processing and bean quality step by step. With each harvest, A Lưới coffee has shown positive changes in quality and flavor. From these beans, PhinHolic has experimented with many brewing methods — from the traditional phin and espresso to manual brewing — to bring the story of Huế's own coffee closer to everyone. A Lưới is still continuing its coffee journey. This experience is a way for you to learn about, brew and taste a part of that story.
