Làng Sình Folk Painting Fan

Làng Sình is a Vietnamese folk painting tradition from Lại Ân hamlet, Phú Mậu commune, Thừa Thiên Huế province. The craft has existed for more than 400 years. The paintings were originally used for worship, but to help develop local cultural traditions they are now also used for decoration and as souvenirs.

Material: made from bamboo strips and dó paper coated with điệp (seashell powder)
