Bánh Ngò is a traditional cookie typical of Huế cuisine. Its ingredients are simple, but it stands out for the balance of fragrant coriander leaves, nutty peanuts and a light, crisp shell. This humble snack carries the familiar taste of old-time country treats.

At HiPs, Huế Bánh Ngò comes in 2 versions: Bánh Ngò Lép (flat coriander crisps) and Bánh Ngò Ống (rolled coriander crisps). Both use the same signature ingredients, but each has its own shape and eating experience.

Bánh Ngò Lép (Flat Coriander Crisps)

Bánh Ngò Lép are flat, thin and crispy. They are made in small pieces. With each bite you can taste the crunch of the crisp, the nuttiness of the peanuts and the distinctive aroma of coriander.

The flavour is balanced and not too sweet, so they go well with a cup of tea or coffee. These thin, crispy and fragrant pieces make a simple snack you won't forget.

Bánh Ngò Ống (Rolled Coriander Crisps)

Unlike Bánh Ngò Lép, Bánh Ngò Ống are rolled into small tubes. Their shape makes them more eye-catching and gives them a different eating experience.

The crisp, fragrant shell, the rich peanut filling and the scent of coriander create a balanced flavour. Bánh Ngò Ống are especially good for afternoon tea, with a coffee, or as a snack at any time of day.
