From her small kitchen beside Từ Đàm Pagoda, she helped revive many Huế chè (sweet dessert soups) that had almost been lost. A former literature teacher, artisan Mai Thị Trà devoted her life to Huế cooking and quietly restored dozens of old folk and royal dishes. Rather than building a brand, she chose to pass on this heritage through her classes, her books and every bowl of chè.
